Our first outing for the year was at Bob's Peanut Butter Shack in Westdene. We started off with a talk by Andre from Rat Race Recyclers. He told us all about separating our garbage so that it could be dropped off at the collectors. We learnt about different plastics, bottles, aluminium, steel, newspapers, papers and cardboard. We learnt a lot and we are all inspired to recycle, not for the money as there is not much money involved, but rather to help the environment!
